Dreams are a really nice thing. They can let you experience things in the dream world that you couldn't otherwise experience in real life.

For instance, I'm married. John Taylor and Simon LeBon of Duran Duran are married. But last night I was at a Duran Duran concert and Simon totally kissed me. And John was totally hitting on me, telling me how pretty my green eyes were and how I could totally use them to flirt if I wanted to.

Except I wasn't really at a Duran Duran concert last night. Simon never kissed me. John wasn't hitting on me. And my eyes are really blue, not green.

But thanks to the magical power of dreams, Simon was totally into me and when he was schmoozing the ladies from the stage, he came over to me and gave me his complete attention. Including kissing me... in a very... nice... sensual way. And John, well after the show John was talking me up, totally trying to charm me with how lovely my green eyes were and how intriguing I was, etc. etc.

Sigh... every girl should feel so wanted.

But the point is, last night something happened to me that wouldn't happen in real life. First off, I'm not going to see Duran Duran in concert again until later this month, in Baltimore, and second, I'll be nowhere near the stage for Simon to seek me out. And then there's that part where even if I *was* near the stage he wouldn't seek me out anyway, but whatever.

I'll be sitting in the way, way, way back of the pavilion, out on the lawn, daydreaming from afar about the night Simon LeBon couldn't keep his lips off of me and John Taylor was completely enamored of me.

Oh, and dreams are good for other cool experiences, too, not just macking with Duran Duran. Like getting to drive my MG again, seeing my Grandparents, getting macked on by Johnny Depp. Hey, what can I say, when I fall asleep I am a babe magnet. Even if the babes can't tell the difference between blue eyes and green eyes.
