My sister had her surgery to remove the cancer (it went well) and is currently undergoing radiation (via a pill and she has to be isolated from people for about a week).

My brother is due back from Afghanistan in July.

My sister is going to visit from California when our brother gets back.

And she's bringing her friend - friend and my other brother are smitten with each other, after having met earlier this month at Dad's birthday party and hitting it off.

My car is paid off, my IRS back taxes are paid off, my Maryland back taxes are less than $300 and will be paid off in 2 payments, my Lord & Taylor credit card is paid off, my Express credit card is paid off, and that's pretty cool.

I think we're going to make a baby next year.

It feels like finally the cosmic forces of the universe are finally bestowing some good upon this family, after all the bad we've been through over the last year or so.

Thank God.
