Sometime work doesn't totally suck. Like when someone sends out a serious email to the entire office and someone else runs with it...

N: FYI, since Alex has started kindergarten, I am now arriving at work by 8 AM. Therefore, my hours have now changed to 8AM-4PM. For those of you who need checks, please make sure to have them to me before 4 PM.

E: I will be starting kindergarten this coming Monday. I will arrive at noon after classes are over. From 2 to 3 however, I will be taking my nap so please plan accordingly.

D: So what's the change?

A: It’s a new school year. Duh!

D: By the way, congratulations on getting into kindergarten. I know you were sweating the acceptance process.

A: It was [Y]’s letter of recommendation that did it.

E: It was a brutal process. The competition had private tutors since before they left the womb. I think they let me in because I was the only one strong enough to open the double doors on the way to gym.
