I took a peek at Shivers' diary today (I haven't read my favorites diaries in so long I can't even begin to fathom how long it's been) and she said she was following someone else's suggestion to do as follows...

Go to your 23rd entry of your diary and take the 5th sentence and post it to your current diary.

So I followed the instructions but when I got to the 23rd entry of my diary I thought that it was most fitting for this particular moment in my life right now to just repost the entire entry, not just the 5th sentence. Read on and you'll see why.

From my 23rd entry, we have the following...

Remembrance
Time heals all wounds or so the story goes.
But time has forgotten me, my broken heart does know.
And misery will dine with me and sorrow will stop for tea.
After all, I've got the time since time's forgotten me.

And loneliness will bed with me since you no longer do,
and tomorrow nite I'll dance alone or perhaps invite the blues.
And all the world will bow its head and cry with me a tear or two,
for they know that time's forgotten me just as you did, too.
